Clinical Sales Application Specialist
Xstrahl is an industry-leading medical technology company that develops clinical and research systems for cancer. For more than 20 years, Xstrahl has been shaping the development of superficial and orthovoltage therapies for cancer treatment and driving preclinical research. Xstrahl systems are used in more than 700 treatment and research facilities worldwide, providing complete and specialised clinical radiotherapy and research solutions for cancer and dermatology treatment.
Position Overview:
Due to our recent growth, we are looking for a Clinical Sales Applications Specialist to join our team. This role has the opportunity to be based in either the UK or Germany. This position offers an exciting opportunity to directly impact the quality of patient care worldwide.
The Clinical Sales Application Specialist will directly manage the installed radiotherapy base of Superficial and Orthovoltage systems for Xstrahl clinical applications and provide training and support to the customer base in all territories, with a focus on Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct clinical application training for medical systems sold by Xstrahl, both radiotherapy and dermatology
- Develop, evaluate and implement training materials for end users of the medical product line
- Perform upgrades/installations of medical software and connectivity
- Train internal staff to understand the medical product range and user software and have a clear understanding of the clinical application of the systems
- Lead sales presentations and demonstrations with the provision of resources
- Coordinate and host potential customer visits to existing sites in support of the sales process
- Contribute clinical expertise to develop accurate, cost-effective, and deliverable tender specifications
- Build pipeline by innovatively finding wags to directly market Xstrahl solutions
Qualifications/Experience:
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- At least two years of experience in supporting clinical applications is highly desired
- Successfully completed higher education in the field of (medical) informatics, healthcare or a comparable IT degree.
- Good knowledge of one of the leading clinical information systems and have in-depth knowledge of clinical processes
- Willingness to travel to surrounding European countries is required
- Ability to work independently and in a goal and solution orientated manner
